The Rectified and Reformed Grand Lodge of Occitania is a souvereign masculine masonic body excusively working the craft Rectified Scottish Rite

It is governed, under the chair of the Provincial Grand Master, by a General Master of Lodges of St John, elected with secret ballot at majority by Worshipful Masters representing their lodges. He is assisted with a college of Grand Officers who must have been Worshipful Master in their lodges.
The belonging to a politicaly extremist party or attempting the human dignity is forbidden.
All Brother who is having some issues with the Justice has to declare it to the Order in General and the Grand Lodge in particular. It is treated case per case.

Grand Officers are :

• The Provincial Master (elected)
• The General Master, elected for 3 years, renewable once consequently.
• The Grand Senior Warden, appointed.
• The Grand Junior Warden, appointed
• The Grand Orator, appointed
• The Grand Secrétary, appointed for 3 years
• The Grand Treasurer, elected for 3 years
• The Grand Master of Ceremonies, appointed
• The Grand Elemonsinary (chaplain), appointed
• The Grand Econom, appointed.

Some more grand officers will temporarly been appointed according the workload or the needs. This has to be exceptional.

The Grand Lodge applies the following masonic principles :

• The belief to the Grand Architect of the Universe.
• Presence of the Bible, the Square and Compasses during the work of the Lodges.
• Oaths are taken over the Bible open to St John's prologue.
• It is sovereign over the Craft grades which are Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason.
• It initiates Men who, as they are Brothers, are meeting n Lodges.
• Political or Religious talks are forbidden during the work.
• It applies the code of Rectified and United Lodges (1778), modified by the congress of Wilhelmsbad (1782).

We are applying the decisions taken during these congresses. Prescriptions as the Spirit are remaining the rulers of this rite.
Therefore, since 1778 our world has changed. This constitution is taking this in consideration. It has adapted the original general codes in what was only required by the laws and institutions to garantee the integrity of the universal ideal assigned to the Order by its rulers and founders.

So, a century after Wilhelmsbad, the Congress of Geneva is going to say :

"Yes, the Order is Christian in its wider and higher meaning. It wants to open its craft and unite all those who are working without prejudgees to the Christian moto : "Glory to the Highest, Peace on Earth and Charity among Men", whatever their religious beliefs are".

After the Rectified Scottish Rite has been rebuilt in France in 1910, most of the Rectified Scottish systems opened this Christian esoterism to a wider ecumenism in a universal Freemasonry, therefore wwithout changing the tenets and founding principles of this Rite.

The Scottish Grand Lodge is admitting Men who want to do some spiritual and humanistical research, humbly willing to achieve their own quest in the context of a traditionnal and symbolical Freemasonry, tainted of the purest spirit of the primitive Christianism.
